Mostly just my books, but also some reviews (they might contain spoilers, they're imported from GR and don't parse).
I'm an avid reader of all types, but be warned that I mostly enjoy: horror, sci-fi, fantasy, romances and M/M erotica.
A while back Maureen Johnson tweeted a challenge to flip the gender of covers, bringing to attention the way (usually) women-written literature is always given the soft breezy covers while male-written one get the cooler, 'serious' covers. And then, there was also a whole other issue about how some boys were being ridiculed for reading "chick lit" because of the soft covers. (More info here and here)
Of course that isn't always the case, but the result was most interesting (as seen above). Frankly, I'd totally pick up that second Throne of Glass edition over the original, while with others I either like both or like the original better. But they way each cover represents a story different is truly something to take notice of.
